Korean League Cup

The League Cup was a Korean professional football competition.
The origin competition was the 'Professional Football Championship'.
This tournament was played in 1986 and it can be seen as a forerunner of this competition.
From 1992 to 2011, League Cup had been named after its sponsor, giving it the following names:
* Adidas Cup (1992–2002), sponsored by Adidas
* Samsung Hauzen Cup (2004–2008), sponsored by Samsung Electronics
* Peace Cup Korea (2009), sponsored by the Peace Cup Organizing Committee
* Posco Cup (2010), sponsored by POSCO
* Rush & Cash Cup (2011), sponsored by A&P Financial
From 1997 to 2000, there were supplementary League Cups:
* Prospecs Cup (1997), sponsored by the LS Networks Company
* Phillip Morris Korea Cup (1998), sponsored by the Phillip Morris Korea
* Daehanhwajae Cup (1999–2000), sponsored by the now Lotte Insurance
